Did you know that our farm is named Whistling Well Farm because our well actually “whistles”? When the autumn breeze hits the well in just the right way, a light whistling sound can be heard. 

The well is not only a great photo opportunity, but a place where our customers can make a wish on the coin or bill they throw into it while donating to charity. We collect that money, match it dollar-for-dollar, and donate it to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital Nurses Fund. This fund helps families with expenses not covered by insurance or the hospital. We are proud to say, that with our customers’ generosity, we have donated over $12,000 to this fund to date!
